Do you love keeping things organized, enjoy working with people, and have a head for numbers? The Fort Dodge Public Library is hiring a full-time Administrative Coordinator.  This position blends behind-the-scenes work with front-line service. You’ll help manage budgets and reports, support programs, assist patrons, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED + 5 years related experience
  • OR Associate’s degree + 2 years experience
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience

 Applications will be reviewed as received. Interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis, and the position may close early if filled.

If you live in Fort Dodge, Barnum, Otho, or rural Webster County and have a current FDPL card, we may be able to borrow items for you from another library in Iowa.  Please note that items published or released within the last year may not be requested.  Newer materials will be considered for purchase by FDPL for our collection.
